ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to teach the following computing classes in our Secondary School:
AP Computer Science Principles (grades 9 & 10)
AP Computer Science A (grades 10, 11 & 12)
An introductory Computer Science course that prepares students for more advanced courses
Applicants will hold high expectations for students and will be comfortable differentiating content and instruction in all courses. Applicants should have at least 2-3 years of previous teaching experience, preferably at an international school. Applicants must furnish evidence of:
Documented record of excellence in teaching
BSC or equivalent university degree
Learner-centered focus
Commitment to inclusion to meet diverse learning needs
Teamwork, collaboration, and active participation in school life
Commitment to an inquiry-based approach that fosters curiosity and critical thinking
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Emphasis on relationship building with students and colleagues
