ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a highly motivated, learner-centered educator with a growth mindset who has experience teaching grades 9, 10, and 11. The ideal candidate will be flexible and excited to cooperate with a team of dynamic, professional languages teachers to plan, deliver, and assess student-centered curriculum in a diverse international school setting. You will hold high expectations for students and will be comfortable differentiating content and instruction for all learners.
Qualifications:
A valid teaching license, including a specialism in teaching German to fluent language learners.
A strong understanding of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
A BA / BSc or equivalent university degree.
A documented record of excellence in teaching.
At least 3 years of teaching experience is preferred, ideally at an international school (international experience is required for non-Swiss/EU applicants).
Experience teaching IB Diploma Program courses is highly desirable.
Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across a diverse school community.
