ABOUT THE POSITION
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across the Secondary School
Support and develop students within a broad and ambitious sports programme
Teach IB Diploma Programme Sports, Exercise and Health Science (SEHS), where appropriate
Inspire students through engaging, active and academically rigorous teaching
Contribute to the co-curricular and competitive sports programme
Support fixtures, competitions, trips and outdoor learning opportunities
Contribute to our winter sports and skiing programme
Work collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive team environment
Embrace the ethos of an international mountain school with a strong focus on holistic education
The Successful Candidate will:
Hold appropriate teaching qualifications
Have experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level
Ideally have experience teaching IB Diploma Programme Sports, Exercise and Health Science (SEHS)
Ideally be a high-level skier, with knowledge or experience of ski racing highly advantageous
Be passionate about student wellbeing, participation and performance
Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
Value collaboration, professionalism and continuous improvement
Be keen to contribute fully to the wider life of the school
