Thank you to all the presenters and participants whose enthusiasm, expertise, and willingness to share ideas made the 2026 SGIS Arts Conference such a successful and engaging event.

Hosted by Zurich International School, the one-day conference brought together over 75 arts educators from across Switzerland for a day of professional exchange, collaboration, and celebration of the arts in schools. The programme included 23 workshops spanning visual arts, theatre, choir, and orchestra, offering valuable opportunities for educators to explore new approaches to teaching and strengthen professional connections across the SGIS network.

SGIS Arts extends sincere thanks to the host community at Zurich International School, including Director Elsa Hernandez-Donohue, for their warm welcome and generous support in making the event possible. Appreciation is also extended to David Staebler and our sponsor Gerstaecker for their continued partnership and support of arts education.

Events such as the SGIS Arts Conference reflect the core mission of SGIS Arts: connecting arts educators across international schools, unlocking the potential of arts events and festivals for students both nationally and regionally, and creating opportunities for teachers and students to meet, collaborate, and learn from peers throughout the SGIS community.
