SGIS Visual Art Competition: HOME

What does “home” mean to you? Is it a place, a person, a memory, a feeling, or somewhere you feel you belong?
This year, the SGIS Visual Art Competition invites students to explore the theme “Home” through their own creative lens.
Open to students in Upper Elementary, Middle School, and High School at SGIS member schools, the competition celebrates creativity, artistic expression, and the many different ways we experience and understand home.
Students are encouraged to create artwork that reflects their personal interpretation of the theme. Whether home is connected to a particular place, culture, family, community, journey, or simply a feeling of belonging, we want to see their ideas brought to life through visual art.
Registration deadline: November 27, 2026
This year's winners will be announced on Friday, February 5 2027, at the 2027 SGIS Arts Conference hosted by Ecolint Campus des Nations.
