ABOUT THE POSITION
In collaboration with their colleagues, teachers are responsible for planning and implementing an appropriate, school-aligned instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their academic and personal potential.
In addition, all teachers participate in our student Personal Development Programme as a Homeroom Teacher or teacher of our MYP ‘Core’ Programme. We also expect all our staff to support an ethos of holistic learning through their support of an after school club, activity or sport. It is also an expectation that staff contribute to our Personal Development Week by leading/and or taking part in a residential trip for at least 5 days in term time with students. Teachers are expected to meet (or commit to a growth plan to fulfil) the community expectations of both our Professional and Teaching Standards.
