ABOUT THE POSITION
Do you identify with this description?
You are a trustworthy teacher with empathy, humor, and a touch of idealism, who is committed to the well-being of our students. Using creative approaches, you inspire young people for science, especially chemistry, biology, and geography. In small learning groups with an average of six students, you will address the individual needs of the students and create a framework for conveying challenging content in a clear and engaging way. You can enrich our comprehensive learning offerings in the afternoon program (especially music and performing arts, sports, art, or crafts), and you can imagine not only working here, but also living here and supporting the boarding school's work. However, part-time work as a teacher (without boarding school work) would also be possible.
What makes you qualified:
University degree in chemistry, biology, geography, or natural sciences
Ideally, experience teaching at the SEK I (grades 7 to 9) and SEK II (Matura program) level
Openness to new forms of learning
Enjoyment of working with young people
