ABOUT THE SCHOOL


At Beau Soleil, our Summer Camp is huge fun! We welcome children aged 8 to 17 from around the world to an exceptional environment where they are challenged, encouraged and supported through a wide range of activities and experiences. ABOUT THE POSITION


Our summer camp staff are enthusiastic, happy, motivated and above all, have a desire to share their spirit of fun with the children at camp. Monitors lead and share with children a huge variety of fun activities, all set in the spectacular surroundings of the Swiss Alps. Our monitors are role models for our campers, creating a friendly, warm and safe environment at camp and contributing their energy and sense of fun to ensure a happy and energetic atmosphere.

 

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

 

  • Ensure campers’ safety and well-being during activities

  • Take full responsibility for 10-12 campers, ensuring their safety and well-being

  • Plan and lead recreational, on-campus, and off-campus activities

  • Provide 24/7 care, emotional support, and guidance for campers

  • Assist campers, resolve conflicts, and promote positive interactions

  • Enforce camp rules and safety guidelines

  • Act as the main contact for families, addressing concerns directly

  • Communicate with campers, parents, and staff about schedules and concerns

  • Respond calmly and effectively in emergencies

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Minimum age of 20, with EU citizenship or Swiss residency

  • At least 2 years of experience supervising and entertaining children/teens (8-17 years old)

  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills as a plus

  • Skilled in leading activities such as sports, arts, drama, dance, and leadership programs

  • Demonstrates leadership, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm under stress

  • Creative, flexible, and a strong team player with a high workload capacity

  • Experience working in multicultural environments

  • Comfortable performing on stage or in front of groups
