ABOUT THE SCHOOL
For over 70 years, Aiglon College has offered students a holistic and inspirational experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional education. John Corlette founded the school in 1949 on a distinctive ethos: the balanced development of mind, body, and spirit.
The school, nestled at 1,200 metres in the Swiss Alps, is home to over 460 students, from 7-18 years old, representing more than 60 different nationalities. ABOUT THE POSITION
Aiglon College is an international boarding school based in the Swiss Alps with a worldwide reputation for providing a challenging, holistic education in an inspiring setting within a safe, caring and supportive framework. The School is CIS and NEASC accredited, and caters for 480 students aged 7-18 representing 64 nations. Students prepare for IGCSEs and the IB Diploma Programme.
The ideal candidate for this position would be an experienced counsellor with 8 to 10 years or more experience, bringing expert knowledge of university and college application procedures in North America, the United Kingdom and throughout the world. The job description and final job title might vary depending on the work experiences of candidates.
The position will require offering students personalised guidance on career aspirations, university applications, personal statement writing, interviewing, standardised testing strategies, financial aid, and more. The University Advising department currently comprises: a University Advising Director, two Associate Directors, and an Officer.
