We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic part time Performing Arts Teacher to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and empower students through innovative teaching methods and engaging curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing arts education and a genuine enthusiasm for working with students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver dynamic and engaging performing arts lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
  • Provide instruction in various aspects of performing arts, including drama, music, movement, and/or stagecraft.
  • Plan and organize rehearsals, performances, and extracurricular clubs related to the performing arts program.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

  • To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
  • To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing.
  • To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy.
  • To engage in safeguarding training when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Music or Drama Education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (and German preferred).
  • Previous experience teaching drama, music, or movement in a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in one or more areas of performing arts (e.g. drama, music, movement).
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies.
