Collège du Léman is one of Switzerland’s most prestigious international day and boarding schools, located on the edge of Lake Geneva in view of the Swiss Alps.

It is a truly international community with more than 120 different nationalities among the 1800 day and 250 boarding students. They come together on a green, village-like campus covering 8 hectares.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

We are looking for qualified and experienced teachers for short-term replacements in preschool and primary sections during the school year, providing high-quality education to our students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Promote the school’s mission and vision by assisting students to discover and develop individual strengths, make powerful, life-long global connections, and be their best selves.
  • Contribute to the creation of a caring and inclusive learning environment in which students can flourish, ensuring that each student’s health and well-being are given the necessary priority.
  • To teach preschool or primary children according to the Curriculum and specific students’ needs (planning, preparation, differentiation, evaluation)
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues 
  • To use a variety of teaching methods, including the use of IT equipment.


SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
Required - not an option

  • Preschool or Primary Years Teaching Qualification: Bachelor / Master of Education or equivalent  
  • Teaching experience in Preschool or Primary 
  • English native speaker, knowledge of French is an asset
  • To be eligible to work in Switzerland.
