Founded in 2008, La Côte International School is a co-educational, English language based, day school that welcomes nearly 430 students between 2 and 18 years old. Responsibilities:
- Ambition to create outstanding opportunities though Music
- Promote participation and enjoyment of Music throughout the whole primary school
- Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of the curriculum
- Build and maintain a strong partnership with parents to enable children’s needs to be met
- Provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment enabling children to reach their potential
- Promote the collaboration with the Juilliard School and look for opportunities to promote music within the wider community
- Support all performing arts events within the school
Qualifications and skills:
- Degree in Music / Bachelor in Education, PGCE or equivalent
- Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international environment
- Be an organised, dynamic, flexible, spontaneous and creative team member within the performing arts department
- Be able to inspire mixed culture and ability classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
