We provide the highest quality of early childhood education and are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver specialist. This role is an opportunity to support, the activities within and outside the classroom to ensure the children are safe, happy and in a positive and nurturing environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changes in the schedule while working 8 hours per day. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensuring the provision of high-quality early years education and care.
  • Upholding and enhancing safeguarding and welfare standards for all children.
  • Holistic care of babies and toddlers
  • Maintaining contact with parents
  • Administrative tasks (to include but not limited to scheduling, staffing, duties, reporting)
  • Ability to undertake physical tasks (carrying/picking up toddlers)

Safeguarding Responsibilities

  • To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and code of conduct
  • Communicate effectively with families about their children’s progress and the centre’s policies.
  • Promote the welfare of the children, ensuring a safe, secure, and stimulating environment.
  • To engage in safeguarding training when required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualification as a childcare specialist EFZ or equivalent training recognised in Switzerland (e.g. state-recognised educator) 
  • Swiss German, German or English mother tongue
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment
  • Professional experience with toddlers from 3 to 18 months
