ABOUT THE POSITION
This is what you can achieve:
As a boarding school director, you are responsible for the management of the bilingual boarding school (German, English), the implementation of our long-standing pedagogical concept, and cooperation with the Directorate of Education. You are a trusted contact person, committed to the well-being of the students, and shape our boarding school culture with empathy and respect. With great expertise and enthusiasm, you will independently develop your subject area, manage the boarding school operations with empathy and the necessary composure, and actively promote interdisciplinary collaboration with the school team. As a solution-oriented leader, you will adequately address the needs of your employees and the company's requirements. In addition to social skills, you are characterized by communication skills, flexibility, and pragmatism. You will competently represent the interests of the Ecole d'Humanité in selected specialist committees and maintain good contact with parents and authorities, ensuring professional exchange.
What sets you apart:
Relevant level professional training in social pedagogy, social work, education, or psychology
At least three years of professional experience in a social institution for children and young people
Management experience in child and youth care
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Experience working with youth welfare offices
