ABOUT THE POSITION
The Deputy Head of Boarding is part of the Boarding Management team. The mission of the role is to foster a student centered Boarding environment, giving every student the opportunity to shine. As one of two Deputy Heads of Boarding, you share the management of a community of around 60 staff members and 300 boarders. You act as the link between students, parents, the academic side of the school and lead the way in creating and maintaining a home family environment in which students feel secure and well supported.
You will liaise daily with Heads of Houses, House Parents, academic leaders, teachers, pastoral care teams, the medical centre, finance, housekeeping, and the school leadership team.
The Deputy Head of Boarding will be resident on the campus and be a member of the school’s Management Team. This post involves ensuring the day-to-day pastoral care of students.
