ABOUT THE POSITION


We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Intern (Stagiaire). This is a residential position from late August 2026 to June 2027. This role is designed to support our boarding students while assisting in different aspects of life at Le Régent (academic day, after school, weekend activities).


This opportunity is ideal for a recent qualified graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) who is looking to gain meaningful professional experience in an international boarding school environment. 


In addition to being passionate about working with young people, the ideal Stagiaire will be  flexible , dynamic and have an interest in education.


Please note that in accordance with Swiss immigration law, applicants holding an EU passport, Swiss citizenship, or a valid Swiss residence permit are eligible to apply.


JOB SUMMARY 

The Graduate Intern (Stagiaire) plays a key role in supporting the boarding life of the school while contributing to a specialist area. This residential role involves working closely with students in a supportive and inclusive setting, assisting with extracurricular and academic activities, and helping to support the development of a vibrant boarding school community.


The Stagiaire helps to create a safe, stimulating, and positive atmosphere where students can thrive both personally and academically.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Support in boarding houses after school, during evenings and weekends. 

  • Supervise students during study periods, after-school and weekend activities

  • Assist with the ski programme during the winter term 

  • Be involved in the broader life of the Régent community

  • Assist with transfers and in boarding houses at the start and end of term and half term

  • Participate in long weekend trips and activities 


Depending on the candidate's background, there may be opportunities to support specific areas such as academics, creative activities, sports, wellbeing, or student leadership programs.


A clean driving licence would be useful; please state in your application whether you hold one. The ability to ski would also be an advantage, given the school's location and the range of outdoor activities offered.
