JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and forward-thinking first-language speaker of Italian able to teach across a range of year groups (normally grades 8-12/UK years 9-13) up to and including IGCSE and the Italian Literature programme at the IB to first-language speakers of Italian or the IB programme of Italian as a foreign language.

The number of periods will depend on demand but will probably amount to 25%-30% of a full-time timetable.

The ideal candidate will be both a qualified and experienced teacher of Italian as a first language and also as a foreign language. Although IB experience is highly desirable, Le Régent would fund official training if this is necessary.

WORK PERMITS
Obtaining work permits for non-EU candidates can be a difficult procedure and we may be obliged to appoint a candidate with an EU passport or a Swiss work permit.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES
Candidates should advertise on the TES platform. Le Régent will then make contact and provide further details of the post.
