The Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz is an international boarding school with a history stretching back over 115 years, located near St. Moritz in the heart of the scenic Engadin valley (Switzerland). 190 boarders from around the world and 110 local day students study at our school for the Swiss Matura, the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) and the International Career-Related Programme (IBCP). Boarding House Staff

Start date: Immediately or upon availability


  • Oversee all aspects of the running of the boarding house
  • Be responsible for the pastoral guidance and support of boarders during duty times
  • Create a safe, well-ordered, warm and friendly environment
  • Support boarders in their academic and co-curricular activities
  • Ensure behaviour in line with school and house rules
  • Communicate with parents and all stakeholders at the school
  • Actively handle and report disciplinary and pastoral incidents
  • Organise and actively contribute to boarding activities in the evenings and at weekends

The position will suit candidates who enjoy the challenge of working with bright and inquisitive international students, aged 13 – 19 (grades 7 to 12).


  • Bachelor’s or other degree in the social, pedagogical and/or psychological field
  • 3 – 5 years of working experience
  • High level of social competence and empathy
  • Strong communicative skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Leadership qualities and ability to work in a team
  • EU/EFTA citizenship

Mental Health First Aid Training

Everyone can provide mental health first aid!

In this two-day training, First-aiders are taught a basic knowledge of a range of mental illnesses and crises. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical skills are practiced through interactive exercises and role-plays. With your newly acquired
skills you will make an important contribution to the quality of life of those around you. With your knowledge you can strengthen both your own mental health and that of others.
