La Côte International School
LCIS is an International School following the English National Curriculum in the Primary School and the Middle Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organisation in the Secondary School.
LCIS employs approximately 40 members of staff who currently work with and for 185 children between the ages of 3 and 14. Children come from a wide variety of nationalities, linguistic and social backgrounds and from families permanently resident in Switzerland and on shorter expatriate contracts.
LCIS is more than a school, it is a community. We value close contact with parents and we see each young person in our care as an individual with their own special talents and educational requirements.
Requires an MYP co-ordinator.
Successful candidate will:
- have a current teaching qualification with significant relevant experience.
- be a native English speaker, (or possess a high level of fluency).
- be able to offer at least 2 subject areas at MYP level.
- have experience of curriculum development ideally with MYP.
- have experience of academic administration ideally related to the MYP.
- Ideally be available to take up the post by April 2012, or earlier.
- exhibit the ability to lead and co-ordinate a team of colleagues.
- demonstrate a high level of motivation and commitment.
