Elfs full day workshop: 1st October 2016
Join us for a stimulating day full of practical ideas and new ways of working confidently in Primary Maths with Karen Wilding, Primary Math Consultant from the U.K.
Content and Aims:
- Successfully delivering the core curriculum aims of ‘Fluency, Reasoning and Problem Solving’ across the primary range
- Planning from engaging, real-life starting points (including stories for younger children) which help you make rich links across the curriculum and show children how important maths is in their everyday life
- Ideas for teaching more challenging aspects such as ‘Fractions’
- Develop greater confidence and enjoyment in your maths teaching.
Venue: The British School of Bern in Rüfenacht, near Bern. (Time: 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.)
Cost: 100 Sfr. per person (A maximum of 30 teachers will be accepted for this course)
