Dr Ullman is an International Accreditation Leader for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) Commission on International Education (CIE), and was formerly Vice Chair of the Commission. Dr. Ullman’s responsibilities include conducting accreditation visits for schools interested in NEASC accreditation and providing personalized consultation to schools engaged in school transformation using the ACE protocol. She has served as chair of visiting teams in numerous countries, including Jordan, India, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Dubai, Lebanon, Turkey, China, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Guatemala, France, Romania, Thailand, Bangladesh.
Dr. Ullman formerly served as director of the principal preparation program at the University of Connecticut (UCONN), a program that is nationally recognized as one of the premier Schools of Education in the US. Currently she is Special Adviser to the program. Dr. Ullman’s other responsibilities at UCONN include serving as Director of the Advanced Instructional Leadership Development Program, a partnership between UCONN and the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), in collaboration with the Jordan Ministry of Education and the University of Jordan. She also teaches in the superintendent preparation program at UCONN and coaches principals and superintendents.
