Christy Curran is an independent literacy consultant for schools in the United States and around the world. Her recent international experience includes working with schools in Bonn, Cairo, Muscat, and Zurich.

She was a classroom teacher for nine years before joining the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project in 2006, and left TCRWP in 2014 to become an independent consultant.
